Located in a true wine growing region, the village of Carcès is situated on the Côtes de Provence wine trail. The village has kept it’s authentique character and its uniqueness thanks to it’s medieval center, it’s lake, it’s forest and it’s nature. The narrow windy streets of the historical center of Carcès spiral around for you to discover houses with walls of varnished tiles, true works of art characteristic but very rare in the Var . With it’s lake of 100ha into which flows it’s  6 rivers, Carcès is a center for fresh water fishing.
